Disclaimer: I am a member of the Janji Corps Ambassador program, which means I get to tell you all the awesome stuff that Janji is doing. While there are benefits from being an ambassador including a discount, I do purchase the clothing myself and all opinions and words are of course my own.
It’s officially change in season! Here in Oz we’re gearing up for summer (I tell you, we’re having a SUPER warm long weekend right now) but folks north of the equator are going to be cooling down… So it’s a good thing that Janji are continuing on where they left off and releasing a new product from their Autumn (Fall) line every Wednesday US time (Australian late night Wednesday/early morning Thursday)!!! I’m so super excited to see what goodies they have in store for us this season!
As is the norm with Janji, the premise of “run for another” truly means that. If you aren’t familiar with my past ramblings about all-things-awesome about the brand, the main takeaway is that by purchasing a piece of clothing – you are helping to supply communities with water around the world. This is what makes the brand unique and a total winner in my eyes, not only do they make amazingly comfortable gear to run in (check out my reviews of their US Summer gear) but the brand has a cause.
Across the board, we can see that there has been a release of new tees – these are similar to the summer release tees and feature the soft Janji H2GO fabric blend of 65% polyester/35% rayon. Available so far in both L/S and S/S versions, Janji has paid tribute to the collection region of the world with designs that are true to the country. Plus they look super awesome… In all honesty I’m totally digging that Women’s S/S Haiti Dove Tee as shown above. Below is the Men’s Haiti Coast Long Sleeve Tee (another fave of mine!). Just remember that both tees provide 1 year of much-needed clean water to someone in Haiti…
As of today, there hasn’t been any new release pants or shorts for Women, but on the Men’s side we’ve seen the release of Janji’s first pair of Male Running Tights and they are LOUD! Which is great, because purchasing these pants will provide a whole year of water to someone in India. Yes! A Whole Year!!! Now you can’t get much cooler than that.
As I’ve mentioned, the Janji Autumn (Fall) collection is still being released, but the good news is that you can sign up on the Janji website to receive the info on the new pieces as they are being released (come on, join the cool kids!), or you can also keep up to date on Facebook or Twitter.
As what I did with the Summer collection, I’ll be reviewing the pieces later down the track so you know what they’re like. In the meantime, you can catch up with my previous reviews:
