It’s a BibRave Pro Stocking Stuffer Week! Final Day – It’s Chocolate Milk Time!!

It’s the final day of the BibRave Pro Stocking Stuffer Week (sponsored by Zensah). It’s a Chocolate Milk day today – as chosen by BibRave Pro Melissa (you can follow her blog here).

I don’t recommend chucking some Chocolate Milk down your stocking, for it would make some absolutely soaking wet gifts – however perhaps think about it for a post-run Christmas drink, or to leave for poor Santa and give him some nourishment mid-pressie run!

With so many post-run drinks out there, it is super easy to overlook something so simple as Chocolate Milk, however I know whenever I do a long run – it’s the first thing that I crave. There is also some awesome science behind the theory that Chocolate Milk is good for you (the low fat variety mind you..). From the Team Chocolate Milk website:

  • contains the right mix of protein and carbs scientifically shown to refuel exhausted muscles and help return to peak potential

  • PLUS IT TASTES AMAZING!! (Ok, not science but it’s the truth!!)
